On 22nd July the Scarborough Flyer starts its trips again the train departs Stockport at 0820 am last year the Duchess of Sutherland was the star of the show this year No 60019 Bittern, No 6201 Pricess Elizabeth, and 70013 Oliver Cromwell will be hauling the train it will be making its usual stop at Denton to take on water so get there with your cameras photos of last years loco Duchess of Sutherland below On Friday 9th the Scarborough Flyer made it’s last journey of the season headed by Princess Elizabeth after which it will be driven to York for refurbishment
