Friends

The aims of the group along with Friends of Reddish Station is to persuade Northern Rail to reinstate passenger train services from Stockport station thro Reddish South Denton and onwards to Manchester Victoria and return but the concensus  is that this will not happen until the franchises have to be renewed in 2013 then it will have to be insisted that this line be included at the moment there is one train a week on a Friday morning to Stalybridge which does not return this is done to stop station closures and to keep the line open
