Extraordinary Meeting

On the evening of Wednesday 11th August the Friends of Denton Station and The Friends of Reddish South Station met together for the first time at Stockport Labour Club to ratchet up to a higher level their campaign for a train service along the our local line which will be known as the eastern corridor. Firstly it was decided by a show of hands to arrange a meeting and invite representatives from the two councils Tameside and Stockport the Transport for Greater Manchester and Northern Rail which will be chaired by Andrew Gwynne and it was also decided to send a letter to the High Peak Council and various other councils and groups along the that paticular corridor and involve them
